I know we just met
So I dont know your name yet
But I feel we could have a talk
Or maybe a little walk
Cause this smile on your face
Put a little light on my dark place
I was talking about my heart
The broken one
The one
That had been hurt
Thats exactly what I said the first time we met
And after that
I always protected you like a president giving away a speech
I never got mad at you, even the days you were yelling at me like a *****
Remember back in 2009, when you got depressives thoughts
I was the only one who stayed around to keep you away from these stupid thoughts
Even the night your boyfriend dumped you
I was the only one who stayed around to build up your confidence
Talked to you
And gave you another chance
Nah that night I didnt take advantage of the situation because I loved you
What mattered for me was your happiness, not necessarily be with you
You knew me better than anyone but still you chose to listen to your friends but not me
I knew you better than you knew yourself but still you chose to be with someone else but not me
And now your last word to me was a simple wow
I should admit that was amazing that was so wow
You and I had all to be happy
But your pride wont let you admit it, its crazy
Now youre gone and all I have left is this pen
I hope youre happy
Life gave me one billion reasons to be happy
But I was only concerned about one, you and your happiness
I should have asked Mr. Monk what happened to his life
After the death of his wife
I know it is just a movie
But still
I can always go back to the reality
And ask about Miss Whitney
She got all to be happy
The music, the fame, the money
But all she wanted was Mr. Bobby
Who did she end up? It was tragic
I know I said this before
But let me repeat in case you didnt hear me first
Even though you hurt me, I dont hate you
Because if I do
I wont have anyone else to like
Remember the days I told you, you be fine?
Now you growing up
And messing up a lot
And somehow
Youll have to clean them up
I dont know if I be around to help
But if I'm not
Just remember this
One day you be fine
I can see it through your eyes
You're my friend
And I will never let you down
