The morning comes around the bend
The night will come swiftly to an end
What news will the morning bring
Will the birds in the meadows sing
Will war engulf the entire world
Will bombs be dangerously hurled
Will all the deserts be filled with rain
Will disease be cured, no matter what the pain
Will the one I love step away from the ledge
Will she put down the knifes edge
What will happen when I wake
The best of today I will make
