Driving down the road in my car listening to my son Paying attention to the road yet wondering how our conversation had begun
Its an awesome feeling when I spend time with Thomas, or Peter, my other boy The moments I always cherish to my heart it always brings joy
Always trying to imagine what it is that brings joy to their heart So I bring myself down to their level and from being an adult I do part
My boys get a kick when daddy is funny and cool Especially when daddy does silly things and daddy acts like a fool
Yes, these times we need to remember when our children get a laugh from what we do It sometimes reminds us of when we were their age too
After you read this stop what youre doing and give your child a hug Forget about anything you deem important for a short time, from it all you can unplug
Days turn into nights nights turn into days We tend to forget about those special moments our children love in so many ways
Sometimes we feel burdened when our children stress us out Then we start yelling and then we see them pout
Take a deep breath think again about what you say Take those few moments with that child to make that pain go away
