Begin a quest to find life's true song
Certain that the hunt can't be wrong
As the day passes, so grows the urge
From sorrow, hope with surely emerge
Golden sun awakes yet another day
Eyes open, close, open anyway
Hearts fall as each new hope dies
Feet move forward as life silently cries
Locked between the sun and moon
Lies hidden a mysterious blue lagoon
Quiet oasis for the wretched soul
Sweet respite from this daily toll
Listen, freedom calls; follow its sign
Balloons floating free of this earthly twine
Smiles carry them ever higher, higher
Musical laughter the fuel for their fire
Feel lights within each burn brighter
Hear love's truth bind us ever tighter
Paradise lies just north of tomorrow
Where there is no room for any sorrow
Sing out loud with solemn grace
Share this dance with freedom's spires
Gather the world in your golden embrace
Design a future of wondrous empires

"....Balloons floating free of this earthly twine... Paradise lies just north of tomorrow..." I loved these lines more but on the over all this is a very beautiful poem. Great rhyme and sweet flow and nice diction.
