Within each person lies a plastic mold It determines what story will be told What realm created as the plot is laid Depends on what part is being played
Some keep their design locked away Only showing what they want to say These few rarely give truth the stage Rather steal from someone else's page
Think they're clever presenting the fraud Pretending they have a human facade Hiding behind words the world accepts Never revealing a lack for it's concepts
Dishonest false hope may have appeal But this world created is far from real Reach out to see how it fades to smoke Rain falls dry as hope starts to choke
Lies disguise truth wrapped in a bow Deceit thinks honesty will never know The danger with this ignorant thinking Eventually the world ends up shrinking
Life moves fast down a rolling hill People react when lies reach their fill Wake up and realize love's truth today Before it tires, and just fades away

Nice. Love goes flat like a tire. Flat lined like the beep, in the hospital bed. It was there, this musical heart before it was hooked up to machine. Like a rolling hill, you lay down at the top of the hill as a kid, and roll down and get scratched by the thorns in the thatches and you scream out, and you remember this. A hill, just one, does not roll by itself. But life does. Both up and down. Depending on your view.
Thank you, nice poem.
Peace! |
