ups and downs in life

Isn't it funny how life seems to work,
It is worse then riding a roller coaster.
Life can be bright and shiny one day,
Then other days seem to be in a toaster.

Of course you have to take the bad with the good,
Some days, months, even years will go wrong.
Some will cost lots of dollars, others just dimes,
It's nothing like what you hear in a song.

If the sun was always shining, you'de get sun burned,
If it always rained the earth would flood.
Sometimes all you have to do is give your sweat,
Other times it's like a vampire after your blood.

Just remember when you open your eyes each morning,
To say to yourself " this is going to be a great day."
Then every night before you close your eyes,
"Yes the world is still turning," is the last thing you say.

When times get bad don't forget to smile,
You smile, then he will smile, then everybody will smile.
Make yourself happy then others can make you happy,
Use happiness for the whole mile.
