Celebrate good times, come on
Today Maggie Thatcher has finally gone
Her unemployment inducing policies had me on the run
Life under her cronies was no fun

Her policies are always near
Which the rich forever revere
The North-South divide is still here
Sustained welfare cuts to fear

The rich stay rich, the poor stay poor
Job opportunities getting fewer and fewer
Society and communities no longer pure
Constant food price rises to endure

Part-time jobs and insecurities rise
Share prices at record highs
Corporations to deeply despise
Airwaves dominated by media lies

Let's celebrate good times and start to play fair
Respect communities and the environment everywhere
Let's get rid of this ideological nightmare
Let's celebrate life and start to care
