When did life get so complicated?
So complicated I couldnt find the time to write,
I couldnt find the inspiration
I couldnt find the strength.
When did I lose the imagination?
The imagination to think up beautiful thoughts
To ponder the future
To reminisce upon better times.
When did life lose all its wonder?
The wonder that is childrens beauty
That brings about inspiration
That shows us the better things in life.
