Let go
Of all the pain
You carry.
Give up the burden
You hold inside
Your heart.
Take it to the cross
For Jesus
Will take your troubles.
Keep the fear out of your mind
For God has won
The victory!
He will wipe
Away every tear.
He will carry you
Amidst heartache.
You need not worry for God loves you,
And will take care of you
As He promised.
The wind may blow,
The waves may crash against your soul,
But Jesus is the lifeline.
The lighthouse in the dark,
In the fog and confusion of your life.
Piercing the shadows
Creeping around your heart.
The light shining so bright
Chasing away the shame and regrets,
Bathing you in love,
And clothing you in righteousness.
Guiding you on the rough seas
Toward the safety of shore,
His outstretched arms.
A place of refuge
In the hurricane,
Standing tall and strong.
Come hell or high water,
Jesus is our lighthouse.
