Smile and look forward
Stand tall like a tree
Let your feet sink into the earth, feel the power she gives you
Our mother, our nurturer who gave us life
Air to breathe, wind to carry her messages of love
Can you feel the connection?
Stand planted in one spot while the rain falls down your skin
Gaze up to the clouds and thank them, drink their gifts from above
Place your palms on the ground, in the dirt
Can you feel her pulse?
Your heartbeat can only beat so long as mother earth still lives
Show her respect and all of her children
For we all are her children
In her beautiful eyes we all are the same, she is not bias
Show her the love she shows us
We all need to take care of her

"Let your feet sink into the earth, feel the power she gives you". I do - not often enough but I do. I'm standing in a virtual forest at the moment. Lovely poem - we are earth children. ;-)
