I started building myself a new world
Building it all for you
You didnt know my other life
You never, ever really knew
The hell I was going through; still do
Addictions, obsessions
Flow in and out my soul
Like the dark rain falling in my heart
Replacing one for the other
Making sure I keep filling this hole
What if I fell out this window
What if I fell all that way
Would you ever know
Would you know what to think, what to say
What if I grew wings
And soared up high
What if I began to sing
What if I finally learnt to fly
Would you leave me be
Would you forget it all
Would you let me become me
Would you then watch me fall
For what goes up, must come down
Fall, down to the ground
This, this is where I belong
For Im depression-bound
