So familiar is your soul to me
The way yours plays with mine
What goes on each day between them
No words I know --- define
But, I know my arms have held you
That our tears --- in sorrow fell
And I remember throwing pennies
with our wish --- in wishing wells
And when midnights sleepy softness
with your words caressing me
Im touched with warm, 'I love you,' whispers
And I know youve been with me
Im not surprised at how youve spoken
directly -- to my heart
how even in your silence
your breath is music --- in my dark
Its how I know I love you
while just briefly reunited
weve made love in waterfalls
in all the moonlight fields weve lighted
so cant you almost feel it, love
that we are meant to be
that Im supposed to be in love
and you --- in love with me
