locked within the walls
not knowing what to say
Realizing that the end of this
is not to far away
not caring who it hurts
I must protect my son
no matter who it turns on me
I'll do what must be done
we fight for who we love
to this there is no end
sometimes it is the only way
a broken heart will mend
the legal understanding
of every thing I do
revolves around a precious heart
so loving & so true
I'd give up everything I own
& anything I ever had
because what I have is priceless
just knowing I'm his dad
