Is it worth it?
So he asked
No responses
Only gasps
Running slipping
Falling tripping
There's no running from the past
Is there a god?
Is there a hell?
Is there water?
Not In the well
Whispered rumors
Hushed confessions
Lost and broken
Stolen posessions
What's it like?
To be lost?
Beaten, broken
With no cause
But no one asks
And no one cares
At the end of the day
There's no one there
To drown your sorrows
Quench your thirst
They only push you
Into the dirt
They laugh and smirk
It never ends
The ones that hurt you
Were once your friends
That's the worst.
They used to love
Now they laugh and kick you
From their pedestal above.
Time heals all wounds
But not the heart
If you can't love
Don't try to start
