Here she comes
Looking like a million bucks
It's been four months
My heart still thumps
Every time I think of her face
My eyes swell up
She was my biggest mistake
The love of my life
I let her slip
Into oblivion
Now I hurt
Now I pay my debt
It's more than pleasure I owe
Loneliness has come to collect
Now she walks closer
I've thought of this moment over and over
How to respond
My inclination is to give her the cold shoulder
When in reality
I dream of warm embraces
Steamy showers
Both of our faces
Locked together for hours
As she waves her hand
Calls my name
My body cowers
I become overtaken with fear
That if not now
I may never summon the power
To tell her how I feel
We belong together
Our souls were destined
To be intertwined forever
Eternally bound
Celestially found
Our love resides in the heavens
Floating in the clouds
Blessed by the angels
Who sing us songs
Give us strength
Carry us along
The night sky shines
Our skin combines
To make new life
