Butterfly Dreams

The wind is howling,
rain pouring down
lots of city noise
puddles all around.
Not seeming like spring
no sun today
the butterflies have flown
gone away.
I keep them in my dreams.
They emerge within me
reminding me of rebirth
souls release, beauty in soul
beauty in woman, fly.......
It can rain today,
and pour into the night
but when I close my eyes
there they will be
the butterflies, surrounding,protecting
reminding, there is true beauty
pure love, magic on the wings.

Nice lines, thought provoking because like a phoenix (but ina different way) butterfiles signify transformation a rebirth but in a different form, from a crawl to a flight thats beautiful. Well captured! |
