Here we are again
impossible situation when
All I can do is love you and
Hope for the best
It's obvious I love you
I would never leave your side
I watch this monster take its toll
Your weakness cuts me like a knife
You fade away from me
And I can hardly bare what I see...
It's like the death of a rose
A beauty that fades
It crumbles to dust
The wind takes it away
It's like the death of a rose
Once soft and so sweet
Reduced down to dust
You've fallen down at my feet
I've watched the days go passing by
Your breath it comes out weak
I hate seeing you like this
You've lost the will to even speak
So I just whisper that I love you
Everything will be alright
I'll watch over you in silence
As I cry myself to sleep tonight
You scare me when you sleep
Though I should find it comforting
Your peace is shattered by my minds distorted image Of your death
And I can't seem to shake the vision
I feel lost without direction
I can't seem to find a way to bring you home.....
It's like the death of a rose
