This is NOT a love song

Contributed by Sommer on Monday, 27th May 2013 @ 12:22:19 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

This love thing isn't my thing
I can't even watch titanic
I mask feelings with sarcasm
expect you to somehow get it
And I know I may come off as harsh
But Hey ur no romantic
So u can't be too mad at me
Cause I'm trying here god dammit!

Love songs never worked for me but
Hey I think I owe you one
While I hate to admit it baby you know you're the only one
The only one I like this much, wanna taste, wanna touch
You must have known that before long
You'd have yourself a love song

Sappy words are hard for me
They stick right to my tongue
But I'm trying anyways cause ur the one thing that I love
Sorry I'm not better at this
It's just so hard to explain
Its like you dug a hole inside my head and took over my brain
Without you, don't know who I am
I make no sense alone
It's like im peanut butter with no jelly
Corny line I know :)

Love songs never worked for me but
Hey I think I owe you one
While I hate to admit it baby you know you're the only one
The only one I like this much, wanna taste, wanna touch
You must have known that before long
You'd have yourself a love song

Please Excuse my loss for words
I've really tried my best
how can I show you you're my world?
You're all that I hav left
I never want to lose you
You're all I know of happiness
But if I said this to your face I'd probly blush myself to death

Love songs never worked for me but
Hey I think I owe you one
While I hate to admit it baby you know you're the only one
The only one I like this much, wanna taste, wanna touch
You must have known that before long
You'd have yourself a love song

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
