I sit and wait for your return,
You had left our village to go on a journey.
Five years has gone by, now,
Are you coming back or did you forget me?
I remember everything you said to me,
"I'll always be here, by your side."
You are the most important thing to me,
Don't leave me alone in the night.
I swear I see you every day,
But that's just my mind playing, a dumb game
I think I'm going to go crazy,
Just not even hearing your name.
And when you do come back home,
Tears of joy are surely falling down.
You smile and hold me and tell me your tales,
Never leaving me, never making me frown.
