You tore it down before it was ever built
The ending upon us
A start still in its infancy
Ripped from its place in our destiny
Visions of life long laughter
Love in perpetuity
Ending in disaster
With no bond left linking our souls
Completely letting me go
Giving you freedom
Complete control
Strings hooked on my back
A puppeteer you kept me intact
Until you decided to break me down
Shattered my life
Scarred me indefinitely
No way to overcome
The pressure from
Your hurtful venom
In a language I don't speak
In words I can't read
You made me see
Love in its most rawest fallacy
It's been a long ride
An uphill battle
I climbed for years
Only to slide
Down to the depths of despair
Where
Fire consumes the oxygen in the air
Breathing becomes laborious
Smiling a daunting affair
Ecstasy back to reality
Happiness no longer appears
Hurt engulfs the brain
Shooting neurotransmissions of everlasting pain
Nothing will ever be the same
You made sure of that when you kissed me goodbye
One last time
Again
