Desolation drifts away from the rest
Looking in the sky theres no light tonight
The path is lost and it all seems to lead
To the same place
Farther from where I once stood.
Feeling like the young boy again
Who once chased the breaking waves
Back and forth till god knows when.
Theres no longer need for roads and rhythm
My home is a mental prison
The lotus helps me soar
But doesnt grow anymore.
Everything goes away
From where I stand
But Ill be here for forever
Like a tree
bones rooted to the knee
Waiting for the fruit
To bloom Ill need you
As Ive always needed you
To feel free
