Darkness

Contributed by ArloDisarray on Tuesday, 6th August 2013 @ 02:24:31 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My light, why must you always shine so brightly as if to try and blind me?
My light, why must you dance so smoothly, as if to try and knock me off my feet?

My light, why must you show me the way, when I just want to be left to wander?
My light, why don't you just go away? I'd rather be alone than have you in my way.

My light, I'm better off without you. I'll get so much further now.
My light, I hope you see how far I'm getting without you blocking me.

My light, I'm having trouble finding my way, but I'm still better off this way.
My light, I'll live alone forever and I'll soon find my path.

My light, it's been so long since I've seen you. I don't even remember your face.
My light, without you it is so cold here. I miss your touch, and your embrace.

My light, why have I been so selfish? Why have I been so stupid?
My light, I've made myself miserable, and cold without you.

My light, where have you gone to? Who have you found to shine upon?
My light, will I ever find you again? Or will you belong to someone else?

My light, I hope you can remain beautiful, never let anyone else tell you to stop shining.
My light, I fade away into the darkness as I finally let you go...

(I will never stop loving or missing you. But I want you to be happy)
