So scared, I pray to a God I don't believe in
Not even for a minute do I want to leave him
I can't stand the thought of us going nowhere
It's all in my head, so why do I go there?
Closing my eyes, but can't get my rest in
Changing my mind to keep myself guessin
I'm wide awake while he sleeps like a baby
Scrambled and restless. I'm going crazy.
Take all I know, put it in a box
bury it to find another day
Take all I am and throw it away
Hit myself in the head til I'm bleeding
Maybe then I will stop being greedy
Maybe then it can finally be easy
Maybe then I can stop all my pleading
Eventually it is all gonna hit me
One day soon, you will no longer miss me
