Oh My Jerusalem

On every road you travel theres a price that must be paid, Crowds gather round and listen to hear what the prophet said. Jerusalem, oh my Jerusalem, upon your children sorrows come, Generations hence weep and curse the sinful things youve done.
The prince will mix iron and clay, for seven years written in sand, But its in his heart to destroy, abomination comes by his hand. By stealth betrayal enters in cruel treachery armed with a spear, When armies surround Jerusalem then know that desolation is near.
And he upon the housetop flees, taking nothing from his house, The man toiling in the fields returns not for clothes or spouse. Judeans flee into the mountains with great urgency and haste, The abomination that maketh desolate stands in the holy place.
Upon Jerusalem tribulation falls and on those who dwell therein, Those things which have befallen them more sorrows soon begin. Woe unto them that are with child and them that have given birth, Pray your flight not on the Sabbath day or winters freezing earth.
Not one stone upon another stands, by Gentiles armies crushed, Our nation trampled and persecuted, forgive them as we must. Endure until the time of the Gentile is fulfilled and complete, Watch for the promised signs predicting the enemies sure defeat.
