What to do? What to do? I wish I knew.
Do I wait for you? Will you come through? Can I hold you?
Is this thing on? Attention!
Testing: ONE TWO THREE Why do you do what you do to me?
Do the piercing stares and starry nights not mean a thing? Because our hearts have been beating in sync lately, and it's kinda weirding me out.
But you're all I think about.
It's hard to face you I can't erase you Could not replace you I'll try not to waste you.
I hope you can see the emptiness I feel when you're not here, I disappear.
Please, take me anywhere but here.
This is our first moment of hatred toward each other, so I kinda want this to be special.
Thanks for the memories.
Now all we have is pain
...to remind us we're alive

I like the way this reads. Flows so easily and an interesting perspective from the writer's point of view (a summary, if you will from a few chapters of a life).
Yay for poetry in action!
Thanks,
Tim
