If the world suddenly ended today
What words would your heart say
Would you dwell in the evils of old
Or could you shout out love's gold
Would you curl into a tight ball
As you waited for time to finally fall
Would you cry for a life unfulfilled
Lamenting what the end has willed
Or would you exalt a life unsurpassed
A joy upon which hate cannot trespass
Would you gather love so very close
Remembering its happiness the most
If the end comes, I pray God gives to me
All the images my loves have let me see
As darkness shatters light's last sound
I'll shelter all as I gather them around
I'll hold your hand as you hold mine
I'll remember our time in God's sunshine
I'll realize that is not our end of time
I'll smile as our hearts and souls combine
If tomorrow should be our final end
I'll embrace each family and friend
Knowing as we race for God's golden sky
We carry memories within our soul's eye

Deep write and great flow pattern. I guess I would want the same if tomorrow ends. Like me your a free verse writer, makes it easier to put words on a paper.
