Here I stand Living a life so fleeting Weeping at the hands of wrath, bleeding. Collapsing inwards with screams So powerful That they betray their means The clock of everlasting promise, runs out Tick tock, tick tock. Time is up and so am I. Suffocation ensues and there you go There I go, Where do we all go? I am not sure But I will find out my darling. Wounds so deep they sting Teardrops full of bittersweet nothings. Do not help me for I can no longer help myself. And so it goes The dice are rolled, cards dealt The game of life goes on. And so it goes, and I follow. For how may I endure such horror? When I may not escape myself. My pen trembles wearily And my brow dampens Yet I still stand. And breathe. Until I buckle to the conformity. How inevitable is it? Disgrace to my dreams. Failure on my life. Everlasting you say? My dear, the only thing everlasting is that of death. And that is was they will never say. I am out of words The horizon within me darkens. Mumblings of apologies, But so it goes Forever Fingertips grasping I must bid you Goodbye, goodbye. Do not wake me up so I may die.
