~Water runs thicker than Blood~

At a home somewhere
the heart resides
between its walls
a gathering
of laughter,love and fun
or so they say,
it does happen somewhere though.
The rivers run wild
the creeks babble
the raindrops fall
the ice melts
and it all collects
and meets somewhere
a common sigh
a heartfelt reunion
where the sun meets the shore
and the sands shimmer
an ocean......
Blood, well it can be a twisted scene,
of love or of horror
or of just nothing in between
a collection,a life force
a warmth.....
Or, a pool once warm
pooling into a spot
then growing thick
then cold,and into nothingness.
Old sayings state:Blood is thicker than water"
I say
water runs thicker than blood
least in a case such as this
penned in a moment
clarity and reality
with black ink not in red.
Read in between the lines
it is just what it reads.
