Where friends meet

Contributed by softerware on Friday, 22nd November 2013 @ 10:25:12 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

It makes you laugh
it makes you cry
It makes you think
Or draws a sigh;
Been there done that;
Nice to find
on Mick's site a kindred mind;
a place to write
a place to share
It costs dear friends
to keep it here!
a dollar of your hard won pay,
would do so much to help it stay,
and like a family of friends,
we'll all meet here until it ends.

Wow Mick, I can't believe I'm the only one to comment here.
This is really sad. It would break my heart if you have to let it go.
Big huggs, blessings,
emy

Nicely written and thank you. Very emotive poem.

I've been a member for a little over 8 1/2 years. I think it will be here quite a while. It is a struggle but there is too much love here.

I donate when I can but I think a lot of us are struggling poets.

Thanks

Tim

Thanks J,

I hope the site always exists, and I will keep it here for as long as I can. Only bankrupsy would stop me having it here!

Mick

It's something you don't find much of anywhere, real, distorted, beautify hidden, stories never beheld before, and freedom in a freelance imaginary land.
You don't understand, Here I come, and see real people describe what best friends often fail to do. I've learned a lot here!
Can't thank you enough! I'll give more $ soon, the few bucks so far were far too little!

Peace!
