they ask me if i can make
folks feel what i feel
I really dont know
but i know it is real
to understand my poetry
or even be able to see
you must understand
the reality of me
I am a simple man
its all I can do
to put my words together
& make them visible to you
if you do not understand them
or dont know where to start
then maybe your just reading
& not reading from the heart
anything worth reading
is worth reading all the way
if your heart gets involved
you'll understand what I say
