My Darling Mechanic..

Topic: HumorPoetry

Off to Dormans Tire I limped; to get my wheels aligned;
What I found was not exactly what I had in mind!
Shoulders like a mountain; eyes like liquid ink;
I felt frozen in his gaze; (my mouth stayed closed I think!)

God, his smile could melt iron ore; His laughter made me tingle;
His arms were strong, his hands were sure;
I hope to hell hes single!

Food! Thats it! Ill throw a pot roast!
(Whoa there girl, calm down!)
Keep your foot down in the brake;
Hes slowly turning round

Hes tapping at the window;
(His mouth looks soft and wet)
And I cant find a pencil, or my lighted cigarette!

Dont wink and smile! (What IS my name?)
Is this car in reverse?
Sure, call me sometime. (Howd that sound?)
Now get me to a hearse

My blood is up, my face is hot; Im just a total wreck!
If you bend over in those jeans, Im gonna wrench my neck!
How can your voice be bedroomy, when you are solid as a tree?
--------------------------------------------------------------
Whoever wants a plaster cast, just TOUCH that phone til midnights passed!
Oh well, its getting later now;
I guess he wont call anyhow
Whats that you say? A call? for ME?
Does it sound like ecstacy?
(start of brand new fantasy..)
