Theres a butcher in my town And hes a little sad today That there are problems in this world That you cant pray away
And his wife shes a painter Yeah the real artistic type With frames of the starving That cause all kinds of strife
The government tries to help Or at least thats what they say Branding us with numbers To describe our personality
And the Priests tell us differently The ways to live our lives But who can say whats happy Or distinguish faith from lies
So guess its up to you And what you believe Each person needs to find their way Who cares if we disagree

I enjoyed the opening stanzas more than the finish, and a little polishing would make it a better poem, but it shines from the dross, alright.
