I WENT TO THE MAIL BOX
HOPEING TO SEE A
BEAUTIFUL LUV LETTER
THAT YOU HAD WRITEN
TO ME.
THERE WAS NO LETTER IN
THE BOX BUT WHAT DID MY
EYES SEE ONE SINGLE
YELLOW ROSE LEFT THERE
FOR ME.
NOT A NOTE NOT CARD NOT
EVEN A LITTLE TAG JUST A
SINGLE YELLOW ROSE WAS
ALL THAT I HAD
HE KNOWS THE YELLOW ROSE
IT IS MY FAVORITE FLOWER
BUT IF I COULD JUST LOOK
INTO HIS DEEP BLUE EYES EVEN
FOR JUST ONE HOUR.
I REALLY WANT TO THANK HIM
FOR THE YELLOW ROSE AND
TELL HIM THAT I LOVE HIM
I HOPE THAT HE KNOWS.
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE
NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
FOR THIS I HOPE YOU KNOW.
