And imprisoned against the seamless night sky that didnt seem so stark she was forced to stare at the splendour of the serenpiditous stars Linking arms blending into the romantic regalia of fusion But in her head forlorn despair and confusion Infatuation knowing no intuition as she fixates her eyes like pealing bells inconspicuous at this glimmer of a star it dilates and then winks innocuously again Then elusive it fades .... The lights are too bright so they glaze and penetrate Wean her away Because this lifetime glimpses no supernova

an interesting concept, beautifully expressed. i love the imagery. this is a really vivid and visual poem with an interesting final line that hints at the futility of life. keep them coming, Kate x |
