and we laughed
while we joked
while we held each other with our eyes
the afternoon sun seemed a little too golden
a little too nice
and then you smiled
taking your while
all seemed silent, no noise, no sound
I feel like a child now you said
have been wanting to be here
before I was dead
the silence got a deeper hue
with neither of us having a clue
for we knew
this does not happen all the time
and times like these are so very few!
