When it comes to forgiveness I am determined to move on Where faith is concerned I am lost but still pray from afar I remain indebted To a master I have regretted Knelt besides beauty Forged my way through hateful vengeance I find myself Where I began In complete silence
As turmoil spins its convoluted script A picture of clarity flashes across the screen of my mind A peaceful image of smiles, happiness, laughter in a long ago time Nothing was taken I have shelved away the pieces Hidden the secrets Covered the bedspread With lies Deceitfulness My pride Buried with the rest of what was once good god and glory
Here in the heavens Among the clouds and angels The beauty returns Truth and honor are superfluous A stinging voice One that can not be heard Rather felt in the bones Shakes me to my core Brings me reprieve
Released from my shackles Brought to my knees Forgiveness is granted And so it is received

Heck of a nice job! I think you have a diamond in the rough here. I hope you take some more time on this piece for editing....it is not there yet, but like a colt you just KNOW is a champ, so to is this poem. It just needs some growing.
Well done,
Invierno |

This spilled out just right. I think a piece like this should be left alone, because it had the desired effect.
