Some of our greatest glories
come in the smallest stories
All of our biggest fears
come in the shortest of years
Some of our biggest fights
are in the longest of nights
All of our deepest prides
are in the shortest of strides
Some of our greatest lessons
are for the least known reasons
All of our gleams
come in a dream
Some of our virtues
come as we choose
All of our biggest lies
are seen by the smallest eyes
Some of our best lines
make the little ones shine
All of our love
is seen from them and above
Some of our crys and tears
are what the child hears
All of our actions
are from our emotions
Some of our thoughts
are from the lies we bought
All of our forgiveness
doesn't make us any less
