Where did the soft side of life go?
When expression was free without thought.
When did I begin to carry life that is Now so tangible to my awareness.
Where did the sweet blossom go?
I can still feel the voice that whispers in Every summers' breeze.
The touch across my skin before life's smile.
So tell me what happens before the last
Petal falls?

You write so beautifully and yet there is a melancholy tone to this. The last petal scares me because it sounds as though you're referring to death.
This is poetry in action. |

Hi Anna,
Beautiful!
Life happens before the last petal falls, and I'm
hoping that your poem is the result of detached
reflection and not related in a personal way.
