Open my eyes to one more grey sky
Untangle suicidal sheets from around my body
Go through the motions one more time
Just to catch a glimpse of what I'll never feel
And I would give anything
Yes I would give anything
Just about anything
To be in that place where you are
The same routine
On the same old screen
False pretenses
And hollow smiles
I hate you
For leaving me without you
You pushed yourself away from me
How can you be so mean?
Come play with me
Come waste away with me
Nevermind
I just wish it would rain
My world consists of nothing
But various shades of grey
You took my kaleidoscope of color
And I don't believe in you
Anymore
Please hurt me
Break me with your words
And cause me pain
Because I can't stand feeling nothing
I would rather despise you
I know the tears are there
But they're mad at me
And refuse to fall
I want so bad to hate you
But instead I'm indifferent
I hate being me
So kiss me hard
Because this is the last time I'll let you
Until the next time
And you'll stare at me in confusion
And watch me as I walk away
And you won't see my tears
You'll never see my tears
I?ll find some distraction
And I'll use it as my drug
To mask the pain you're giving me
To hide away my fears
I'm scared of you
And scared of me
Scared of the truth
Scared of what I can't feel
Yes I am but flesh and blood
But never human
I would like to think I was invincible
That your eyes didn't hurt me
But I'm a liar
That's all I'll ever be
I'll burn your letters
Put away your pictures
Shed my tears
And scream my rage
And wait for the next time
Because there's always a next time
With you

Well....this is full of emotion! And let me tell ya, most of what you have written consisits of almost everything i feel towards certain individuals! I truly enjoyed reading this, and you even gave me more inspiration. My absolute favorite part is :"Please hurt me
Break me with your words
And cause me pain
Because I can't stand feeling nothing" I think it's brilliant! Excellent! Time to go and read some more...:-) |
