Uumm is all I can say.
With the sound, I smirk, you laugh.
I say it in redundancy around you,
redundantly you have made my day
That sound is all I can give you
That sound is all you can have.
Your eyes squint and examine mine
You have, I hope, no idea whats running
through my mind.
In amused questioning you might ask if Im alright And absolutely amused
Ill say, Im fine
Moreover to my words, if you looked closer
In the blackness of my eyes,
youll be surprised what feelings youd find.
Uummyour persona leaves me in wonder
and your eyes squint even more-think.
Think of nothing, not even, whats under
The layers of me.
Dont think I hide what I think with a wink.
Predictably, as if on cue, you laugh again
There arent any words to describe
the moment you and I are undergoing.
I realize, you are, beyond any teaching of Zen
and in the realization of stellar magnitude
my thoughts, beliefs, ideas are flowing.
UummI thrown in jubilant ambivalence you
You are this idea against what I have come to believe.
Ive become a Tabula Rasa, my speech slurred uh, duh, whats what, whos who?
But you are by far the sweetest, enduring pet peeve-in me.
I love the sensation of my face pressing against your skin
Everything about you reminds me of gold, gems and priceless, precious treasures.
Pure, like a white immaculate light, clean of all sins.
Yet, you are the provider to my heart of all raptures
of all pleasures.
Uumm I dont even have to say a word- you know
And you smile, you laugh, and you grab me, you kiss me.
I close my eyes, in this kiss, youve left me no choice
SooOoOoO
I think, Ive been able to keep my mysticism,
You understand, you are my energy, you are my ki.
In this culmination of silence, I see without seeing
In our moment, in an instant, the beauty of our environment
By the shine of the lights
Of the sun and the moon
I open my eyes, the wetness of the kiss, still on my lips
And all I can say is Uumm
