Immortal Soul

I shake the skeleton of this body
I am an immortal soul
Locked up in here
my freedom, this body stole

A glutton for punishment
jumping into bodies that live for so long
I am an immortal spirit
one that is very strong

I seek what is beyond this cage of flesh
unreal dreams they may be
I am an immortal spirit
however through the flesh I still can see

Not always happy
being caged behind these walls where I live
Lend this body your hand
to your body my spirit I will give

When I leave this home
to the earth it will be bound
Buried deep
never to hear another sound

Make me smile
keeping me where I desire
I will live inside of you
until your body will also expire

An immortal soul
lives forever and ever
Jumping from body to body
is it greatest endeavor
