We all know that Raven perched on the chamber door mocking the greiving of his sweet Lenore, but have you thought there was no Raven rapping, tapping on the chamber door but; a black man telling his wife and child nevermore will he tell them he loves them, nevermore will he be there to watch his child grow.
Nothing further then he uttered - not a feather was then fluttered - this they sat engaged in guessing but no syllable expressing to the 'fowl' whose firey eyes now burned into there bosom's core.
Was her death because of the Raven or of her love for him?
