Misery= Love With No Secure Self Image

Contributed by silvereyesinwinter on Friday, 4th April 2014 @ 12:19:54 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Love is feeling hurt
Love is feeling pain
Love is this superficial emotion you try to shake off,
But it doesn't go away...

Love is accepting their definition
Even when to you it doesn't make sense...
You want to break it off, but you're quick to want it back again
Cause you don't know who you are yet...

You want to find love?
Don't look to your friends...
Your enemies are better...
Look out the window and you'll find what you're looking for in the trash, cause that's all it is.

You gave fake hugs,
You laughed when from guilt, you should have been crying...
Is all I am to you a joke or a game?
I can't believe I held those dirt filled hands...

But now I shout to the Heavens and leap for joy
I rise in triumph,
I was but a slave and I was bound to misery...
But now, I'm free...

Ah friend, that does not sound like love at all. It sounds like someone does not know what they just lost... Keep writing them out of your heart, and move on to bigger and better! ;)
