When my heart is a broken mirror and the shards dance to the sonata of the night I put on my foundation And I feel alright
When you're gone My heart beats to the rhythm of the bullet train I'm forever in the autumn of love Recalling summer rain
Mascara on the porcelain skin My heart's as dark as my curls I'm not a doll, I look tough but I'm still just a girl
As though a fallen castle Floating above my heart You watch as the temple Falls apart
Through the cloudy prairie You fly away, to a different sky And I just put on my concealer As I have to say goodbye
