You Inside of Me

Contributed by lastwaltz on Monday, 19th May 2003 @ 05:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

I swear I never knew my name
Until it crossed your lips
And this heart never knew high nor low
Until your eyes shot through it

Now your eyes are of deceit and fear
And my souls crying at the sight
We cant cross what divides us
When all we do is fight

Weve got to let us go so soon
Long goodbyes only dull the pain
And we like our wounds fresh
And our tears shed in the rain

But wherever Im heading
Anywhere Ill be
Im guided by the heaven
You, alone, showed to me
Sowing these pieces of the you
Inside me
The you inside me

Baby, I know Im fading,
But I cant give in just yet
The force thats stronger than the human spirit
I havent encountered yet

The love you poured into me
The stranger you awoke
Has me dreaming in bright colors
And riding a spirit once broken

Can you watch me going
Forgive, and believe me
That theres just some place
I have to be
Sowing the pieces of the you
Inside of me?

The pieces of you inside of me
Developing slow, like our baby should be
Driven by the fire you lit inside me
Im sowing these pieces of the you inside me

Goodbye cant capture this love
Time can only suspend
A feeling that goes away never really came
And this kind of love never ends

With me sowing the pieces of the you
Inside me
Everywhere

Dont you forget or give up
On me
I swear
Theres just some place
I have to be
Sowing the pieces of the you
Inside me
