Without and Within

Contributed by unknownlegend on Sunday, 11th May 2014 @ 04:15:57 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Without and Within

A love to be challenged
a soul to set free
a heart now captured
a spirit with no glee

ears not to hear
eyes without sight
like a candle without air
won't light up the night

a love not inspired
a goal not to reach
how can one survive
if love be a leach

to draw from just one
two wells to be
one soon goes dry
no love to see

this is a lot deeper that at first glance, when i re-
read it a few times i finally saw it: every other line
are the two people, and of course the exquisite
ending, sooo beautiful and cleverly penned!

hugs n' love nessa

Very well put and very true. There are those who will bleed you dry. However there are those who will restore your faith in love. Grate rite be strong and God bless

Greetings
Rus

Very true - when love is shared, it makes you strong. When it isn't, it leaves you vulnerable.

Great write.

Sad, but true. What must have been done to those that do. While not defending those actions, at some point those people were innocent and victims themselves....just a shame they didn't grow.

Well done.
