as i sit my room alone i replay what has been done the day before i never meant to harm you with words nor with actions heaven knows i am no saint yet i m not a full sinner either i rather your happiness to be first than my own your smile can light up any room your kindness can makes someone's day my own selfishness has made me the person i am today i know i don't deserve your love not even after forgiveness so run along, my love you deserve more happiness than i can give

I don't really know how old you are, but I would like to give you a piece of advice. Never blame yourself. We all make horrible decisions, and letting go is hard. Maybe the hardest thing we have to face in our lives, but to draw it all in and say, "it was because of me" is a fallacy. The truth is that it's no ones fault. Sometimes people just aren't compatible, or there is miscommunication. Sometimes both parties are just too weak to see the truth.
Anyway, nice poem. Keep writing. |

I agree no matter how thin you slice it there is always 2 side no one person should take all the blame. Maybe it was no ones fault and wasn't meant. So relax pick up your chin and smile. It maid for a good poem that people can learn from.
Greetings
