Irrelevance Defined

Walter looked with longing On the sweet life comforts Victor enjoyed. (Victor viewed Walter walking, Knowing he had no home, and felt grateful). Victor knew Mikes television Was worth more than his combined possessions. (Mike looked at his TV, thinking with amazement, That damn TV is worth more than Victors entire life possessions) Mike realized, with a twinge of angst, Brendan had a floor worth more than his entire accumulation. (Brendan walked upon his floor, Knowing it costs more than Mikes two homes and 1.5 acres). Brendan knew his homes and wealth Could be bought ten times over With a painting hanging on Jerrys wall.
At the top of such a meaningless hill, There is only one man that can only look up. There is only one man that covets not the meaningless. The rest of us are Walters, Victors, Mikes and Brendans.

this is excellent, i love how you wrote this, i live a
humble simple life by choice, i know many
people want to out do each other and feel
jealous or like they have to get bigger better than,
but i figure if it works don't fix it and with nature all
around me; that is my painting,
hugs n' love nessa |

Thank you for reminding us of the distinction between admiring and desiring. Building on the habit forming..layer after layer is very convincing as your work gathers momentum down the hillside!
Your conclusion may be fallacious, but your argument is completely engaging!

hey man invierno,
this is like a sweet valley
you drive by filled with nothing
but beauty and still it lives and
breathes in all those hearts who drive by it
and leave it untethered
in their dreams.
I sit with the monkeys I do,
always I'm telling myself.
tempered by gold and silver
or anything that will buy me
right quick any solution to a simple
problem.
the problems they remain.
Thanks man. You are a good writer,
that just is.
Peace! |
