Suicidal Love

Contributed by regret_nothing on Monday, 19th May 2003 @ 11:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

loving you was never hard
but losing you i'm now emotionally scarred
all because i was ill
but losing you caused me to kill
not a friend or enemy
but the person i chose to kill was s***ty ol' me
weapon of choice was a blade
cutting and cutting my problems begin to fade
dont think this was your fault
for your tears will help clean my wounds from the salt
the salt being your family
who continuously despised and hated me
we could have made this work out
but she refused and often pout
she made you feel like you were a mistake
but everything she ever said was just like me, it was fake
for you are far from perfect but better then your mom
love your kids and not hit them when your unable to stay calm
stay away from the drugs and alcohol
for they are the factors that started it all
i tried to help when you were down
i tried to stop her from pushing you around
but she has more power then me
for she is the dog and i am the flea
now she's ***** because i made my choice
my wrist is bleeding damp and moist
but this is something she can't change
her power is not out of range
i have found that i have more power
when it comes to my own life, a wiltered flower
but now i'm gone and looking over you
sadly enough, now is when you say i love you too

interesting write, although I have been there when it comes to suicide, I do have to admit there are better ways of dealing with outta control emotions.
Never the less this poem was pretty dam emotional.
Keep up with the writing.
