Did I grow up according to planned,
are you proud of me now?
It hurts the most
when you dissaprove all along..
and say ,'where did I go wrong?'
I'm sorry I can't be perfect...
now its just too late...
and I can't go back.
If I could I would do things all over again,
and hopefully change all the things you ever said.
Don't turn your back now-
I just want to talk to you.
You just won't understand.
How can I tell you what is running through my head-
when every time you look at me the tears you shed.
We lost it all
and nothing lasts forever-
and if I could, all the things I ever did...
I would do over...
to hear you say that
for once,
you are proud of me.

| i recognize a lot of parts of this poem....It sounds a lot like Perfect, by simpleplan? at least a lot of the lines come from that song. Good poem anyway, tho. |
